Suma Soft Developed a Secured Website & Interface for Internal Accounting System for Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDAO) under Govt. of India.

Client’s Background

The client's accounting department was responsible for processing claims and requisitions received from Army Officers across India. Army officers use this portal to register their TA/DA claims, raise traveling requisitions, receive SOA, Form 16, IT Declarations, etc.

Project Requirements

The client’s internal team was partially processing the requisitions and claims online or manually. The former website was vulnerable to attacks like SQL Injections, Cross-Site Forgery, Session Hijacking, etc. A thorough security analysis revealed that managing the website content and user data was a tedious task, and they needed a user-friendly system with robust security features such as,

  • EDP Manager dashboard that can manage the content of the website as and when required
  • Website design to comply with the OWASP Top 10 Security vulnerabilities​
  • Track and Manage requisitions received from ocers​
  • Sending SOAs, Form 16 and Other Intimations and status of claims to ocers​
  • Manage Grievances raised by ocers​
